This page explains what information Splenix receives through splenix.com, why it is received and how long it is kept.

Who is responsible
Splenix is responsible for the information submitted through this site. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@splenix.com.
What the contact form collects
When you submit the contact form, Splenix receives the following:
- The name you enter
- The email address you enter
- Project type, if you pick one
- Budget range, if you pick one
- The message you write
- Which language the page was in when you submitted
Why the information is used
It is used only to reply to your enquiry and to judge whether Splenix can help with what you describe. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you sent yourself.
It is not used for marketing, profiling or automated decisions, and it is not sold on.
How the message is delivered
The form is submitted to the server that runs the site. From there the content is sent onward as an ordinary email to the Splenix inbox at the email provider used for the domain. The message is not stored in a database on the website. The email is the record.
How long it is kept
Enquiries stay in the inbox for as long as they are useful to the conversation, normally up to two years. If the enquiry turns into a project, the correspondence is kept for as long as the client relationship and accounting rules require. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted at any time.
Technical logging and spam protection
The server counts submissions per connection to stop the form being abused by automated senders. That count lives in the server memory for up to one hour and is never written to a database.
The web server keeps ordinary operational logs with IP address and timestamp. They are used for troubleshooting and security, and they rotate after a short period.
The form also contains a hidden field that people never see. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses two necessary cookies. One remembers which language you chose. The other remembers whether you said yes or no to analytics, so you are not asked every time.
Google Analytics is optional. It is not loaded until you actively say yes, and if you say no, Google is never contacted at all. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
The fonts are hosted on the same domain as the site, so your browser never contacts an external font provider.

Your rights
You have the right to see the information Splenix holds about you, to have mistakes corrected, to have it deleted and to object to the processing. Send an email to hello@splenix.com and you will get an answer as soon as possible.
If you believe your information is handled in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Links to other sites
The site links to a few external pages, including the KlarDay product site. Those have their own privacy terms, and Splenix does not control what they collect.
