Scope determines the price. These three examples help you plan before we discuss your project.

NB Service

A website that explains the services in plain language, shows where the team works and makes sending an enquiry as easy as possible.

The problem · Who it is for
Who it is for
Nordenfjeldske Brønn og Pumpeservice AS, a Norwegian specialist in wells and pumps, including the certified Hydropuls method.
The problem
A narrow technical field is hard to explain online. Someone searching for help with their well has to understand what the method does before they feel ready to make contact.
The approach
A website that explains the services in plain language, shows where the team works and makes sending an enquiry as easy as possible.

What Splenix delivered

  • Structure and copy worked out together with the client
  • Design and development of the full site
  • A contact form with email notification
  • Technical SEO, metadata and sitemap

Who this is for

  • Small businesses with a site that fell behind

You already have customers, but the site shows work you did five years ago. It needs rebuilding without disrupting the day job, and without losing what does work today.

  • Founders about to meet their first customers

You have no reputation to lean on yet, so the site has to do the work alone. It does not need to be big. It needs to be clear, and it needs to look like somebody thought about it.

  • Nonprofit organizations

You need to be found, understood and contacted, and the content has to be editable by people who do not work with websites daily. Budgets are usually tight, so the money should go where it matters.

  • Established teams with nobody owning it

The site works, but no one is responsible for it. That is how a site decays quietly until nobody dares touch it. This can be fixed without rebuilding everything.

What is included

  • Working out who the site is for and what it needs to achieve
  • Structure and copy, together with you or drafted for your review
  • Design shaped by your content rather than a template you get pushed into
  • English and Norwegian as equal versions when you need both
  • Technical SEO, metadata, sitemap and structured data from day one
  • A contact form that genuinely sends email, with spam protection and a privacy note
  • Testing on phone, tablet and desktop, from a keyboard and with a screen reader
  • A handover so you can change content yourself, and know where to ask

How it works

  1. Conversation

We talk about what you do, who you want to reach and what is annoying right now. No cost and no commitment.

  2. Proposal and plan

You get scope, price and timing in writing. If something is uncertain it says so, rather than being buried inside a single number.

  3. Content and design

We go through copy, images and structure before anything is built. You see the direction early and can change course while changing course is still cheap.

  4. Build and launch

The site is built in steps you can look at along the way. Domain, email and forms are configured and tested before anything goes live.

Common questions about websites

Do I need the copy ready in advance?

No. Most people arrive with a few notes and an old site. We work out what should be said and in what order, and you get drafts you can adjust. You know your field best, so the content ends up yours.

Can Splenix take over an existing website?

Often yes. We look first at how it was built, what platform it sits on and what genuinely needs to change. Sometimes the right answer is repairing what exists rather than rebuilding everything.

Do I own the site afterwards?

Yes. Code, domain and content are yours, and you are free to move all of it to someone else. You are not locked into a platform you cannot leave.

How long does it take?

Mostly it depends on how quickly the content is ready. A small site can be done in a few weeks when the copy and images already exist. Extra languages and integrations take longer, and you get a schedule with the proposal.

Do you build on WordPress?

Not by default. The platform depends on who updates the content and how often. If you need to publish regularly, we say so. If you do not, you avoid paying for and maintaining a system you never use.
