You do not need more technical vocabulary. You need something that works, and someone who answers when you have a question.

  • You talk to the person building it

No account manager in the middle. The person you plan with is the same person writing the code.

  • Scope and price up front

You get a written proposal covering what is included and what it costs, so nothing turns into a surprise halfway through.

  • The result belongs to you

Code, domain and content are yours. You are not locked into a platform you cannot move away from.

  • Support after launch

Launch day is not the finish line. Send a message when something needs changing or when something breaks.

Who Splenix works with

Four situations that keep coming up

Every project is different, but the starting point usually looks like one of these.

  • Small businesses

You already have customers, but the website gives the wrong impression of what you actually deliver. It needs a rebuild without disrupting the day job.

  • Founders

You are about to meet your first customers and need something that looks considered from day one, without spending the whole startup budget on it.

  • Nonprofit organizations

You need to be found, understood and contacted. Content has to be editable by volunteers who do not work with websites every day.

  • Established teams

You have something that works, but nobody keeps it current or cleans up when a part of it breaks.

Services

Three things Splenix does well

It all starts with one question. What should a visitor or a colleague actually be able to get done?

Websites

From a single focused page to a multilingual site with articles, forms and searchable content. We start with what visitors need to do and build the rest around that.

  • Design and structure shaped by your content
  • Norwegian and English treated as equals
  • Technical SEO, metadata and sitemap from the start
  • Fast on mobile and usable from a keyboard

AI automation

Practical automation for the tasks that eat time every week. We take one task first, check that it genuinely got easier, then widen from there.

  • A look at what actually repeats today
  • Drafting, sorting and summarizing
  • Connected to the tools you already use
  • A person approves before anything goes out

Support and improvements

Websites decay when nobody looks after them. Splenix keeps the solution current, fixes what breaks and builds on it as the need changes.

  • Updates and security fixes
  • New pages, sections and forms
  • Reviews of speed and accessibility
  • One person to send the message to

A mobile app can make sense when a website is not enough. Splenix builds Android apps with Flutter, though most projects start on the web.

Selected work

Two projects, two very different needs

One product of our own and one client project. Both are about making something complicated easy to understand.

KlarDay

Who it is for
Families raising children with ADHD or autism who need days to be more predictable.
The problem
Mornings and bedtimes get hard when a child cannot read a clock and cannot hold the order of tasks in mind. Written lists and reminders rarely help.
The approach
An app where a parent builds the day out of picture steps. The child follows them alone in a calm, locked kid mode where time is shown as a picture instead of numbers.

What Splenix delivered

  • Product design and Flutter development of the app
  • Offline first storage with optional encrypted sync
  • No ads and no tracking of children
  • A product site in English, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish

NB Service

Who it is for
Nordenfjeldske Brønn og Pumpeservice AS, a Norwegian specialist in wells and pumps, including the certified Hydropuls method.
The problem
A narrow technical field is hard to explain online. Someone searching for help with their well has to understand what the method does before they feel ready to make contact.
The approach
A website that explains the services in plain language, shows where the team works and makes sending an enquiry as easy as possible.

What Splenix delivered

  • Structure and copy worked out together with the client
  • Design and development of the full site
  • A contact form with email notification
  • Technical SEO, metadata and sitemap

AI automation

Tasks that do not need to take all morning

Automation is not a system that takes over. It is a set of small helpers that remove the repetitive part, so your time goes to the work that needs a person.

  • Drafted replies to enquiries

Incoming email gets read, sorted and paired with a suggested reply in the right tone with the right attachments. You read it and send it yourself.

  • Content in two languages

When a Norwegian article or product description is ready, an English draft follows with the same meaning and tone. You make the final call on wording.

  • Summaries of long documents

Proposals, reports and meeting notes get cut down to what actually needs a decision, with a link back to the source.

  • Tidy forms and lists

Submitted forms land in the right spreadsheet or system with fields cleaned and labeled, instead of in an inbox nobody can keep up with.

The examples above are typical setups. What fits you depends on how you work today, and that is what the first conversation is for.

About Splenix

A small studio that answers for itself

Splenix is a small digital studio based in Norway. We build websites, set up automation and help people make technical decisions they can still defend a year later.

Because the studio is small, the collaboration is close. You explain your situation once, and answers come from someone who knows the project. We say so when we think something is unnecessary, and we say so when something should be done properly even if it takes longer.

We work digitally with clients in Norway and abroad. Norwegian and English both work through the whole project, from the first conversation to the documentation you are left with.

How it works

From the first message to something that runs

No long phases with vague contents. You know what happens now and what happens next.

  1. Conversation

We talk about what you do, who you want to reach and what is annoying right now. No cost and no commitment.

  2. Proposal and plan

You get scope, price and timing in writing. If something is uncertain it says so, rather than being buried.

  3. Content and design

We go through copy, images and structure before anything gets built. You see the direction early and can change course while it is still cheap.

  4. Build

The solution is built in small steps you can look at along the way. You give feedback on something real, not on a description.

  5. Launch

Domain, email, analytics and forms are configured and tested. We walk through all of it together before anything goes live.

  6. After that

You get a short walkthrough of how to update content, and you know where to send the message when you need help.

Common questions

What people ask before getting in touch

If your question is not here, just ask in the form below.

What does a website cost?

The price follows the scope. A single focused page with a contact form costs considerably less than a multilingual site with articles and integrations. You always get a written proposal with scope and price before work starts, and the article on website cost walks through what pushes the number up and down.

How long does a project take?

Mostly it depends on how quickly the content is ready. A small site can be done in a few weeks when the copy and images already exist. Larger projects with several languages and integrations take longer, and you get a schedule with the proposal.

Do I need the copy ready in advance?

No. Most people arrive with a few notes and an old website. We work out what should be said and in what order, and you get drafts you can adjust. You know your field best, so the content ends up yours.

Can Splenix take over an existing website?

Often yes. We look first at how it was built, what platform it sits on and what genuinely needs to change. Sometimes the right answer is to repair what exists rather than rebuild everything.

What does AI automation mean in practice?

It means a task you do by hand today gets help from a tool. Drafted replies, sorting of incoming messages, summaries of long documents. A person always approves before anything reaches a customer.

Does Splenix work with clients outside Norway?

Yes. The work happens digitally, and English works just as well as Norwegian throughout. The site you get can be published in both languages too.

What happens after launch?

That is your call. Some clients want ongoing support with updates and regular changes. Others get in touch when something comes up. Either way you hold the access to your own solution and stay free to move.
